Shalom Academy is a weekday Jewish pre-school. Classes meet Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, from 9 to 11:30 AM, at Congregation Kneseth Israel in Elgin. Affiliation with the synagogue is not required. The curriculum embraces both Jewish and secular studies and enjoys a low student to teacher ratio.
